Music Magazines (April 1)

I did some research on 3 music magazines. One of the most iconic music magazines is Rolling Stone which was founded in 1967 in San Francisco. This magazine covers music, politics and popular culture, featuring memorable interviews, cover images and in-depth articles. This magazine is in both print and digital formats, making it accessible worldwide.

Another popular music magazine is NME (New Musical Express), a British magazine founded in 1952, was the first to include a singles chart in the UK. It covers pop culture, music, and entertainment, and its website NME.com is a leading online music platform.

XXL is one of the most influential hip-hop magazines in the US, XXL covers rap news, music videos, album reviews, and artist interviews, offering both print and digital content.

 Popular Producers
(March 6)

O’Reilly Media is best known for producing technical books, online learning content, technology-focused conferences and fine art. O’Reilly, founded by Tim O’Reilly, initially gained recognition for publishing books on programming, computer technology, and software development.

I researched O’Reilly Media, and I believe that it would be an appropriate corporation to produce my work especially if I decide to do Music genre. They focus on technology, design, and digital culture.

O’Reilly is famous for their “animal” book covers that teach programming. Beyond books they also produce Online learning platforms, tech conferences and technical manuals.
