  Questions:

  1. How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?

  2. How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?

  3. How did your production skills develop throughout this project?

  4. How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project?

  Answers:

  1. My product challenged conventions because most mainstream music magazines use bright, busy covers to grab attention. ECHO challenges this by using "Noir" aesthetic, heavy blacks, deep reds, and alot of empty space.

  2. My product engages the audience through "The Pulse" (Page 4,) which features fan letters. Making the reader feel like part of a community.

  3. This project taught me how to use Color Theory better and taught me Layouts & Grids. Moving from basic templates to custom layouts.

  4. I used Canva as my primary publishing tool, using features like the "Background Remover" and "Duotone" filters to make various images match the "ECHO" color scheme. I used online resources by sourcing high-quality, 2026 themed images.
